Market District Commons

Construction Clean-Up Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager, I was responsible for overseeing the complete construction clean-up of Market District Commons, a five-story mixed-use development in Eugene, OR. I worked closely with the site superintendent to ensure all aspects of the post-construction cleaning met the highest standards and that the project was completed on time. 


My responsibilities included managing a team of cleaners, maintaining employee morale, and ensuring quality control throughout the entire cleaning process. I conducted inspections to verify that each of the 50 residential units, including 42 one-bedroom and 8 two-bedroom apartments, along with all common areas, were thoroughly cleaned and move-in ready. This involved deep cleaning all surfaces, including bathrooms, kitchens, cabinets, and fixtures, to remove dust, debris, and construction residue. 


A critical part of my role was overseeing the cleaning of all interior and exterior windows, ensuring they were free of dirt, adhesive, and smudges to enhance the overall appearance of the building. I also managed the scrubbing and waxing of floors, ensuring a polished and professional finish. My team was responsible for cleaning hallways, stairwells, and shared spaces, maintaining a safe and pristine environment for future tenants. 


Through clear communication and effective coordination, I ensured that all tasks were completed efficiently and in compliance with project deadlines. My leadership and commitment to quality control played a vital role in delivering a successful and timely construction clean-up at Market District Commons.

Construction Clean-Up Operations Manager

Northwest Elite Property Services provided a comprehensive yearly cleaning for the Coburg Road dental building.

​

The services included: 

•    Full exterior cleaning of the building
•    Pressure washing of the building’s 
surfaces, walkways, and parking lot curbs
•    Cleaning all parking lot storm drains to ensure 
proper drainage

These efforts were aimed at enhancing the building’s curb appeal and preparing the property for the new year.

Construction Clean-Up Operations Manager

Northwest Elite Property Services collaborated with Chambers Construction to provide comprehensive final construction cleaning, which included full detail cleaning and interior and exterior window cleaning. Although NW Elite is based in Eugene, we are willing to travel out of town to assist contractors in a pinch, as demonstrated by our work with Chambers Construction on their project in Roseburg Oregon.

O’Hara Catholic School is a welcoming and vibrant educational institution that emphasizes academic excellence, character development, and community involvement. 


To kick off the new school year, Northwest Elite Property Services provided comprehensive exterior cleaning for O’Hara Catholic School. This included washing over 100 windows, pressure washing the entire building, including walkways and courtyards, as well as thoroughly cleaning all playground equipment. Northwest Elite’s commitment to quality service ensured that the school looked its best, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere for students and staff alike.

As the Operations Manager overseeing construction cleaning at the Shed Institute, my primary responsibility is to ensure that all cleaning duties are executed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Working closely with the project superintendent, I coordinate the cleaning schedules and tasks, ensuring that all operations align with the project timeline. 


I lead a dedicated team of employees, providing guidance and support to foster a productive work environment. My role includes training staff on best practices for construction cleaning, emphasizing attention to detail and safety protocols. I monitor progress regularly, ensuring that all areas—such as classrooms, auditoriums, and windows—are cleaned thoroughly and meet our high standards before the facility opens. 


By maintaining clear communication with the superintendent and my team, I ensure that we remain on schedule while delivering exceptional results that enhance the overall quality of the facility. My commitment to excellence drives our efforts to provide a clean, welcoming environment for all users of the Shed Institute.

As the Operations Manager overseeing the full construction clean-up of the Yogi Tea manufacturing facility in Eugene, Oregon, I was responsible for ensuring the site was meticulously cleaned and prepared for final occupancy. This included coordinating with the project superintendent to align clean-up tasks with construction timelines, maintaining employee morale, and implementing quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. 


Key responsibilities included: 

• Comprehensive Facility Cleaning: Ensured all floors, sterile rooms, restrooms, cabinets, and common areas were thoroughly cleaned to meet both industry and client expectations.


• Window and Surface Detailing: Oversaw the cleaning of all interior and exterior windows, ensuring a spotless finish throughout the facility.


• Floor Care: Managed the scrubbing and waxing of floors to deliver a polished and professional appearance.


• Sterile Environment Compliance: Implemented strict cleaning protocols in designated sterile areas to meet sanitation and operational requirements.


• Team Leadership: Provided guidance and support to the cleaning crew, fostering a productive work environment and maintaining high employee morale.


• Quality Control & Efficiency: Conducted thorough inspections to ensure every aspect of the clean-up met quality standards while adhering to the project’s timeline.


• On-Time Completion: Successfully managed the clean-up process to ensure the facility was ready for turnover without delays.

By maintaining strong communication with construction leadership and ensuring each task was executed with precision, I played a key role in delivering a fully cleaned and operational facility within the required timeframe.
